Meet Osiris.
Let’s start from the beginning... what first brought you to The Full Routine?
I first found The Full Routine through ClassPass, but it all started with a bunch of TikToks I saw about a studio in Miami. I remember thinking, "Why can’t we have something like that in OC?" I tried a couple of places, but nothing really clicked. Then I walked into The Full Routine and it was everything I’d been hoping for and more. The vibe, the classes, the community was exactly what I had imagined, only better!
How did you feel after your very first class?
I’ll never forget my first class, it was a 6:45pm class with Destiny, and wow, what a class! I had no idea what I was getting into with the heated room, and let’s just say it definitely wasn’t for the faint of heart! But what made all the difference was Destiny. She was so warm and welcoming, and after class, she came up to me with such genuine care, asking how I felt and cheering me on. Even though I had to take a few breaks, she made me feel like I was doing great, and that support was exactly what I needed to push through. It was such an encouraging experience that it left me feeling proud of myself, even on my first day.
What does your current routine look like?
These days, I’m averaging about 5-6 classes a week, and I’ve really noticed how much my stamina has built up. I went from being in the very back row, trying to keep up, to now actually looking forward to being in the front. I even show up early to claim my favorite spot! It’s crazy how much more confident I feel, and honestly, it’s become something I really look forward to. As for classes, I love them all, but the ones that really push me are my favorites. There’s something so satisfying about challenging myself each time.
What kind of changes have you noticed since starting?
Since starting, the changes have been incredible physically, mentally, and emotionally. Physically, I’ve noticed my loose skin getting tighter, and I can see my body toning in ways I didn’t expect. I started hiking and running back in 2024 with the goal of losing weight, but honestly, it often felt like a lonely road. It was just me, my shoes, and the pavement, and it was hard to stay motivated on my own. But when I came here, everything changed. I could feel my legs getting stronger, my arms more toned—even after initially laughing at the 2lb weights! What I really love now, though, is the sense of community here. It’s so different from that lonely journey. Everyone cheers each other on, and the support in every class is real. It’s made a huge difference in how I push myself and how much further I can go.
What’s been the biggest shift for you - on or off the mat?
The biggest shift for me has definitely been in my confidence. Feeling good in my own skin hasn’t always come easily, but now I’m genuinely happy with where I am. On and off the mat, I’ve developed a deep sense of gratitude for my body and all that it can do. It’s been empowering to move with purpose, and I’ve learned to appreciate how strong and capable I am. I’m no longer focused on perfection I’m just grateful for the strength, energy, and resilience that I didn’t always recognize before.
What keeps you coming back?
What keeps me coming back is honestly how it’s become a full-circle experience. By sharing my videos on TikTok and Instagram, I’ve actually encouraged others to join TFR, which is something I never saw coming. It still feels kind of funny when people tell me I’ve inspired them because, honestly, I used to think my videos were just silly little glimpses of my journey. But now, knowing that I’m making an impact on others keeps me motivated to show up, keep pushing, and share more of my experience. It’s a reminder that everything I do no matter how small has the power to inspire and connect.
What would you tell someone who's hesitant to try a class?
Everyone starts somewhere, and nobody’s expecting you to be “perfect” right off the bat. The community here is so welcoming and non-judgmental, and you’re encouraged every step of the way. You don’t need to be “fit enough” before coming in—this is about progress, not perfection. It’s more than just a workout, it’s a place to challenge yourself, feel supported, and realize that you can do way more than you thought!
Any favorite Full Routine moments or milestones you’re proud of?
One of my proudest moments was when I made the shift from hiding in the back row to confidently moving to the front. It might seem small, but it was a huge personal breakthrough for me it showed me that I was ready to step up and face challenges head-on. Another milestone was hitting the point where I could tackle moves I once thought was impossible. Using heavier weights, feeling stronger, and seeing progress in my body and mind, it’s all been a reminder of how far I’ve come. Every little win, whether it's staying consistent or pushing myself further than before, is a victory. And honestly, knowing that sharing my journey has inspired others to take that first step? That’s been the most motivating of all. It shows that the effort is worth it, and if I can do it, anyone can!
If The Full Routine had a theme song that matched your experience—what would it be?
If The Full Routine had a theme song that matched my experience, it would totally be “Can’t Stop the Feeling!” by Justin Timberlake. Every time I walk in, I’m filled with excitement and energy, and this song just gets that vibe. Whether I’m crushing a workout or dancing through the class, there’s this undeniable fun and joy that keeps me coming back for more. It’s all about having a good time pushing yourself and that’s exactly how I feel in every class!
